February 6, 2005 · Print · Email

Marking a significant milestone in the municipal bond industry, the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board began offering real-time pricing data for muni bond trades. InvestinginBonds.com, the investor-education web site hosted by The Bond Market Association, is the only non-commercial web site to provide this data free of charge. Pricing, which used to be reported the day after a trade, is now available within 15 minutes of a trade, resulting in the market’s highest level of price transparency in history.
