Redevelopment Agency Demonstrates Exemplary Disclosure Practices
Named last week as the 2005 “Deal of the Year” by The Bond Buyer, we also recognize the San Jose Redevelopment Agency as a model for financial disclosure from a special purpose municipal bond issuer. Good deals and good disclosure should go hand in hand - and they do, in this case. The Agency’s web site includes budget, financial and debt information, including annual continuing disclosure documents from financial statements to debt service coverage projections.
In addition, the site features live webcasts of Agency board meetings, monthly project updates in the housing, business and industry sectors, and a current list of retail vacancies in the downtown area.
