MuniNet Expands Database of Colleges and Universities

MuniNet Guide recently added links to hundreds of private colleges and universities to its database of web sites. The Higher Education category now includes over 1,200 public and private institutions of higher learning throughout the country.

The Higher Education category landing page also includes links to general resources related to colleges and universities, like the American Association of State Colleges & Universities, the National Center for Education Statistics, and the U.S. News Annual College Rankings, to name a few.

In addition, the page provides access to MuniNet Guide articles and today’s top news stories relating to higher education.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, enrollment in degree-granting institutions increased by 17 percent between 1984 and 1994, and by 21 percent from 1994 to 2004.

The MuniNet Guide database - searchable by keyword, geographic location, or category - now includes our select list of links to thousands of sites in over 25 categories.
