In an effort to keep closer tabs on lobbyists, Hillsborough County, Florida enacted an ordinance that requires professional lobbyists to register online whenever they meet with a County administrator, department head, board member or other representative. The Hillsborough County Clerk’s Office web site includes lobbyist forms - both registration and expenditure - along with lobbyist activity reports (on the way).
