While it doesn’t offer much in the way of fancy illusions, Economagic does present a plethora of economic data that can be transformed into a variety of formats. A useful site for economic forecasters, Economagic provides time series charts on key economic data items from the Federal Reserve Board, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and other national and regional agencies.
Data can be viewed by state, region, source or series title. Each series - from interest rates to gross state product to building permits, to name just a few - is then broken down into further detail.
The site offers a substantial amount of data free of charge, but access to files in Excel or copy-and-paste format is limited to paid subscribers. Forecasts for any data series are available to second-tier subscribers.
